07/11/07 - Asbestos contaminated demolition site

Following the demolition of a large former golf club, which consisted of a prefabricated building constructed completely of asbestos cement boarding, the ground was discovered to be heavily contaminated with asbestos debris. This included asbestos cement and asbestos pipe insulation. Due to the complex nature of removing asbestos ground contamination, having the facilities to control fibre release at source, when disturbing the ground ensures that exposure is kept to as low as is reasonably practicable.

As our operatives are trained to the highest standard in both asbestos and demolition we can ensure that the works are undertaken to the highest standards.
