As the buildings were scheduled for demolition the asbestos removal works had to be undertaken. The works were required to be undertaken at certain times of the year in the areas of highest concern in accordance with Bat Ecologists full report.
Operatives undertook a site induction process which included a briefing from an appointed Bat ecologist who informed all concerned of what to look out for during the works.
